Halloween?

It is the month where we get spooked out by scary stuff, which is iconic for this month. People can go trick or treat, scare people, cooking, etc. As we all know, some countries such as Indonesia do not celebrate this type of event. So, from my experience, I have already celebrated Halloween a couple of times where you need to buy a plane ticket to Singapore, and nowadays it is very hard to go anywhere because of this covid-19 which is a bummer. At that time I went to Singapore only for the Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Singapore, Because every year they change the theme and yet it was very fun. Since it is expensive I won't go there that often, so I miss Halloween a lot.

So from that, in this pandemic (cuz it is 2020), there is no way to celebrate Halloween or whatsoever, or maybe just sit back and watch some horror movies to get spooked out. But where is the fun? So I went to Wall Street English here in Surabaya where they made their environment with speaking English all the time. It makes this pleasant feeling of not being in Indonesia, where everything is westernized (in a good way! do not get me wrong) So we do not miss any important event such as Halloween. Why Halloween? it is because there is nothing fun about Halloween in Indonesia (based on my opinion), So here comes Wall Street English comes to the party to lit things up. 

On the 30th of October, I had the best day ever of the year which is celebrating my favorite event of the year and that is Halloween. As I mentioned in my previous blog (READ IT!),  I had so much fun in the social club at Wall Street English. And right on that day where Wall Street English still does not let me down :). We at the social club were having fun and we learn lots of things. On that day the topic of the social club is "MasterChef Surabaya" where we competing with each other to make our best treat and will be judged on our final product. Good thing my team got second place because we burnt some marshmallows :)).
