Confidence is key!

 

English is one of the most used languages all over the world. But most people in some countries don't use  English as a daily or main language. In most cases, almost all Indonesians can't understand English. But also in some cases, people can understand someone talking in English, but they can't talk back using English. This is where confidence could come in handy. Most people having a hard time being confident. Whether they are insecure, not used to, didn't prepare anything. Being nervous is the most common thing that happened to many people.

Wall Street English is one of the most trustworthy English courses that teach mostly adults. Why adults? Ever since the education system is very limited and the government already clarified that the current education system is effective enough, what they are forgetting is the importance of English in the outside world. As a result, Indonesian (mostly) only thought English to understand, not to use it daily to prepare for the outside world. That is why they teach adults because they already have a background but they need to spice things up!

What am I experiencing here in WSE about confidence is that the teachers or trainers really know what they are doing. One day, one of the English teachers come up to me and he explains what is going to happen in the next period of the month. After minutes of explaining, he told me that in the first week, I'll be leading a social club. It is so.... nerve-wracking, so I went over it and practice for the whole week. And on that day... I am super nervous then I went to the restroom then puked. But, that's a good sign. As I am doing the social club, it doesn't go as planned. But thank god... it is over🤣.

In that way, I can see why that I am not just learning English. But, I am also learning how to speak in public.
